Accessibility Statement

TCC Canada’s commitment to an accessible web experience and workplace.

Last updated: 2026-07-07

TCC Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to providing a website and workspaces that are usable by everyone, regardless of ability or assistive technology. We believe accessibility is a continuous process, not a one-time project.

Standards we follow

Our website targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the international standard published by the W3C. This aligns with the Accessible Canada Act, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Integrated Accessibility Standards for information and communications, and BC’s Accessible British Columbia Act.

Steps we take

  • Semantic HTML with clear landmarks (nav, main, section, footer) so screen readers can traverse pages predictably.
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and background, meeting WCAG AA thresholds.
  • Keyboard navigation on every interactive element — menus, forms, tabs, dropdowns and the cookie consent banner.
  • Descriptive alternative text on informative images, and empty alt attributes on decorative images.
  • Visible focus indicators, minimum target sizes, and support for browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
  • Forms with visible labels, error messages that name the affected field, and clear submission feedback.
  • Bilingual (English and French) content with correct lang attributes so screen readers switch pronunciation.

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds — for example maps and video players — may not fully meet the same standards as our own pages. Where an accessibility barrier prevents you from completing a task, contact us directly and we will provide the information or service in an alternate format.

Physical accessibility

Each TCC Canada centre is located in a professionally managed office tower or business park. Building-level accessibility features vary by centre; please contact us before your visit so we can confirm elevator, washroom and parking accessibility at the specific location you plan to attend, and arrange any accommodation you need.

Requests, feedback and complaints

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or at one of our centres, or you would like content in an alternate format (large print, plain text, accessible PDF, audio), please contact us:

We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within 5 business days and to resolve or respond substantively within 15 business days. Where a request needs longer — for example a formatting conversion — we will keep you informed of timelines.

Ongoing improvement

We audit the website periodically and after significant changes, using automated tooling and manual keyboard / screen-reader testing. Findings are logged and prioritised alongside our regular development work.
